After extensive inhouse R&D, the ATEX certified range of packaged HVAC units provides a complete solution for climate control of local hazardous areas.

Typical applications include gas metering stations, gas chromatograph stations, analyser houses, sampling laboratories, battery rooms, etc. In one package the unit contains air filtration, pressurisation, heating and cooling equipment, plus local controls, fault condition monitoring and alarms.

In response to client requirements, we offer varying levels of equipment sophistication and build configurations. For aggressive environments units can be constructed from all welded 316L stainless steel material, for onshore and nonaggressive environments welded and painted ‘Zintec’ sheet steel provides a popular lower cost solution.

Modular split indoor/outdoor options are also available.

Certification of the complete unit for Zone 1 ATEX 2G IIC T4 is available.

Units can be supplied for ambient temperatures ranging from -40ºC to +50ºC and with a variety of refrigerant options making these units suitable for installation worldwide.

Various heating and cooling capacities and filtration efficiencies are available.

Typically, air cooling capacities in increments of 3kW can be provided with heating capacities in stages of 3kW. Units can include re-circulated air or be full fresh air systems. Fresh airflow rates are customised to suit the air change rate requirement of the area served by the unit, with supply airflow delivery rates sized to provide for comfortable air delivery temperatures.

Integral to some designs is a dual redundant pressurisation and monitoring feature, to ensure pressurisation of a conditioned enclosure by air drawn from a safe area source.
